Lily walked over the top of the hill. She realized how deep she was into the forest now, she should have been used to it, but this area had an ominous feeling. Many of the trees here were dead; the ones that still lived shrouded the small clearing into dimness, adding to the ominous sense. The brush was cleared away here, evidence of a struggle. Lily had felt something in the trees, whispers of a horrible event, which she intended to investigate. What she found was truly terrible.
